Deep Fried Rice Balls

Ingredients 

2 eggs

5 tablespoons ground Parmesan cheddar

1 tablespoon dried parsley

1/4 teaspoon naturally ground dark pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1 liter water

1 teaspoon salt

185g uncooked white rice

160g dried breadcrumbs 475ml olive oil

Method

In a medium dish, whisk together eggs, cheddar, parsley, pepper and 1 teaspoon salt. Cover and chill.


Pour water and 1 teaspoon salt into an expansive pot and convey to the bubble. Blend in rice and diminish warmth to low. Cook rice until water is verging on ingested, blending regularly.


Expel from warmth and gradually pour in egg blend, blending quickly to keep egg from scrambling. Permit rice blend to cool for 60 minutes.


Empty breadcrumbs into a heap toward one side of a cutting board. Hose hands and move rice blend into 2.5cm balls, then coat every one with breadcrumbs.


In a little, deep frying cookware, heat olive oil to 180 degrees C. (Should have enough oil to totally cover the rice balls.) Fry rice balls 6 at once, swinging regularly to guarantee notwithstanding searing. Deplete on kitchen paper and serve warm.
